Transform Your Life with Tiny Daily Inspirations

For over a decade now, I’ve been recording guided meditations and affirmations, helping people drift off into peaceful sleep night after night. Those recordings are my baby — they’ve been the steady rhythm of my life, a structured and sacred offering that I still love deeply. But recently, something new has taken root in my heart. Something that feels fresh, exciting, and deeply liberating.

It’s my little podcast, Tiny Daily Kick. And it has become a part of my life that I truly, truly love.

From Structure to Freedom

Guided meditations are beautiful in their own way, and they’re always scripted. Every word has to flow in a certain rhythm, crafted with intention, designed to gently lead listeners toward relaxation and sleep. I’ve always thrived on that structure, but after years of following the same path, I began to want to explore the freedom aspect a little further.

Don’t get me wrong — putting people to sleep is a gift I am grateful to give. Knowing that millions of listeners find comfort and healing in my voice is an honor. Yet, there was a part of me longing to speak beyond the night. I wanted to explore topics of self-growth and everyday inspiration that don’t fit neatly inside a sleep meditation.

That’s where Tiny Daily Kick comes in.

Unlike my meditations, this podcast gives me freedom. Each day, I can wake up with a new idea, a fresh spark, or a story from my own life, and share it right then and there. It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t have to follow a script. It just has to be real. That sense of spontaneity — of creating in the moment — has been so life-giving for me. I’m very new to the idea of not having to follow a script, so this is going to take a little time to settle in, but I am loving the journey so far.

A Move That Changed My Rhythm

Seven years ago, I made a big change. I moved from the coastal town of Windang, New South Wales, to the small country town of Peterborough, South Australia. Going from beachside suburbs to a town of around 1,200 people was no small shift, but it was exactly what I needed.

Life here is slower. There are no traffic lights in Peterborough. None. For someone who grew up with the hum of cars, sirens, and city noise, it’s a whole new world. My home backs onto crown land where sheep graze freely, and kangaroos hop across the fields opposite me. The quiet is astounding. Sometimes I’ll go an entire day and only one car passes by my home.

That peace has shaped my creativity. In Windang, I would often have to stop and restart my meditation recordings because of noisy cars breaking the moment. Here, I can record in deep silence, surrounded by nature. The stillness has not only improved the quality of my meditations but also created space in me for something new.

In many ways, Tiny Daily Kick is a product of Peterborough’s slower rhythm. The environment encourages reflection. The quiet opens the door for fresh inspiration. And I feel more connected to the heart of what I want to share.

The Heart of the Podcast

So, what exactly is Tiny Daily Kick?

It’s not about grand speeches or hours of teaching. It’s about small, digestible sparks of inspiration. They are just enough to shift your perspective. They can brighten your day or encourage you to try something new.

My hope is that listeners take a moment to reflect after each episode. Maybe they’ll recognize a pattern that isn’t working for them and feel inspired to change it. Maybe they’ll hear a story from my own life and realize they’re not alone. Maybe they’ll find just the encouragement they needed to keep going when life feels heavy.

The word “kick” might sound strong, but really it’s more like a gentle nudge. It’s a little push to remind you not to give up. It encourages you to try things a different way. It helps to reignite the fire inside you.

That’s why I love doing it. Each episode is a chance to be spontaneous, to share a story, to speak from my heart without a script. It’s not about perfection — it’s about connection.

The Memoir Connection

What makes this season of my life even more meaningful is that I’m also writing my memoir. That process has been both challenging and healing. I’m still about four or five chapters away from completing it, and while I thought I would have finished by now, I’ve learned not to rush.

Interestingly, the podcast and memoir are feeding each other. I often weave stories from my memoir into Tiny Daily Kick — not by reading them word for word, but by sharing them naturally in conversation. Doing this makes the podcast more authentic and grounded, while also motivating me to keep writing. Every time I bring a piece of my past into the podcast, it reminds me how important it is to complete the bigger story in book form.

I’d like to think the memoir will be finished within the next six months. But even if it takes longer, I know the podcast is helping me stay connected to that journey.

Why This Matters to Me

After years of creating meditations that put people to sleep, stepping into a space that wakes people up — both literally and figuratively — has been transformative. I didn’t realize how much I needed this until I started.

Tiny Daily Kick is teaching me that creativity doesn’t always have to be polished and scripted. Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do is share our real selves — our reflections, our stories, our lessons — in the moment.

It’s also teaching me to celebrate small steps. A single episode may only be a few minutes long, but those minutes matter. They add up. They create ripples. And if even one person takes a new step in their life because of something I said, that’s worth everything.

Looking Ahead

As I move forward, I’ll continue to record my beloved meditations — they’re the foundation of my work and a deep joy in my life. But alongside them, Tiny Daily Kick has opened a new window. A window into self-growth, into sharing stories, into connecting with people in a fresh and personal way.

Living here in the quiet of Peterborough, surrounded by kangaroos and sheep, I’m reminded daily of how far I’ve come. Life continues to unfold in surprising ways. I have moved from the pretty beaches of Windang to this peaceful town. Experiences have shifted from scripted meditations to spontaneous podcasts. I went from dreaming of writing a book to nearly finishing my memoir.

And right now, I can honestly say: I love where I am. I love what I’m creating. And I can’t wait to see where these tiny daily kicks will lead, both for me and for those who choose to listen.

Tiny sparks of inspiration. Real stories. Honest reflection. That’s what I’m here to share — one kick at a time. LISTEN TO TINY DAILY KICK HERE!
